EXAMPLE: Excerpted from the copyrighted works HERBAL RESEARCH GROUP DELUXE EDITION VOLUME 1 BY: DR. A.B. HOWARD "CANDIDA YEAST" AND "FUNGUS" TYPE PROBLEMS 1. Herbs that historically eliminate yeast and fungus type problems are listed below: A. Oil of Cajeput- herbal extract can usually remedy "candida yeast" type problems. Put three to four drops of Oil of Cajeput herbal extract on a little food and eat it three times a day. B. Can-Sol- herbal combination can also be used to remedy "candida yeast" type problems and is especially helpful if a resistant strain is encountered. Use 80 drops three times per day and avoid sugars and starches. C. Bee Propolis has historically been used with great success in handling all types of viruses, bacteria, funguses and microbes, even strains that are very resistant. Use 40 drops to two teaspoons of Bee Propolis herbal extract three times per day. Remember, the tougher the case, the larger the amount of Bee Propolis is used. 2. The role of B-complex in fighting fungus problems - Adelle Davis, noted U.S. nutritionist, ("Let's Eat Right," "Let's Have Healthy Children", etc.) successfully handled fungus type problems with large amounts of B-complex. Use Rice Bran extract or Brewer's Yeast extract, 80 drops to two teaspoons three times a day. NOTE: In general, it has not been universally observed that eating foods that contain yeast such as bread or brewer's yeast promotes or causes "YEAST" type problems. 3. Bowel Management Program- Use a good bowel management program which produces at least three bowel movements per day. This will keep the bowel clean, as yeasts often "hang out" in this area and then migrate to other areas, see the HERBAL RESEARCH GROUP library materials on BOWEL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. 4. Avoid re-infection- If the sexual partner, wife or husband has a "candida yeast" type problem, it is likely that the partner will be a carrier. It would be wise for the partner to also use the herbs to eliminate the yeast problem. 5. Avoid meat products that were treated with antibiotics- Avoid meats where the animal was fed antibiotics as part of its feed. This generally includes anything except those meats labeled "organically raised" or at least those that are labeled "raised without antibiotics." 6. Avoid building up an tolerance to medical antibiotics (do not use them when they are not necessary) - Whenever possible, avoid the use of antibiotics. They are themselves, usually a fungus and will kill all bacteria, including the normal "friendly bacteria" in the large intestine. A. When you use an antibiotic "fungus" to kill bacteria in the body, you kill the good and bad bacteria and establish a friendly environment for all "funguses." This encourages "candida yeast" type infections. To counteract the bad bacteria, use the suggestions in Point 7.A. of this paper. B. Once all the bacteria are killed (good and bad), the harmful bacteria that normally reside in fecal waste matter, unless "good flora" are taken, will return in much greater numbers and faster than the good bacteria or "good flora" in the large intestine. See Point 7.A. in this paper to prevent this problem. 7. How to Supplement Nutritionally to Compensate During the Use of Medical Antibiotics- If there is a need for the use of medical antibiotics, it would be wise to supplement the body with large amounts of Vitamin-B Complex. Use Rice Bran herbal extract, 80 drops to two teaspoons three times per day. A. You may also bring in Acidophilus, acid-loving "friendly bacteria", (good flora) from either one cup of whole milk yogurt per day (only the whole milk yogurt has the nutrients to support the acidophilus) or six to eight Acidophilus capsules with Lactose milk sugar added per day. Both can be found in health food stores. Many people allergic to milk products can tolerate this type of supplementation. B. The result of not having "good flora" in the large intestine is the multiplication of putrefactive bacteria which produce terrible poisons that can be reabsorbed into the body, giving it a second problem. NOTE: By using whole milk yogurt daily, many people have noticed the putrefactive bacteria are squeezed out to the extent that the stool becomes almost odorless. C. To antidote any poisons produced by putrefactive bacteria, and kill the bacteria, the following herbs may be use: Bee Propolis- herbal extract is one of the strongest antibiotics in nature and can be used in large amounts by itself or along with the herbal combination C.C.E.-W (Cleansing Corrective Extract). Use 80 drops to one tablespoon of one or both every three to four hours during a crisis. Golden Seal- herbal extract is also a tremendous antibiotic, but when using it, Vitamin-B Complex should also be taken, as the Golden Seal utilizes the Vitamin-B Complex in order to function as an antibiotic. Supplement with one to two teaspoons of Rice Bran herbal extract three times per day to compensate for this effect. The information on this web-site or it's
